in PA.She was the daughter of Simeon Pfoutz & Susan Minich (Minnick?).Simeon and Susannah Minich Pfoutz were the first white settlers on Kettle Creek. In
1813 they built a log home at the site of the present Alvin R. Bush Dam.

warrants in Strasburg Township PA, on the Great Wagon road in Frederick County VA, in Cumberland county PA, on Dunnings Creek
in Bedfgord County PA, on Berrys Creek in Perry County PA, at the head of Cocalamus Creek in Juniata County, and a number
of tracts in the Fork of the Susquehanna and Juniata Ricers, the present Pfoutz Valley area of Perry County, where he and
at least four of his sons settled and prospered.John does not apper in Lutheran
records after 1744.

of 1801; next appeared in Harrison County Ohio in 1804; relatively wealthy when he died. (George moved to Ohio in 1801.)

Note:
There are several Pfoutz’ buried at Halls’ Run, past the old Hall-Wertz Farm out Barney’s Run Road (Needs research).And I think there
were Pfoutz buried in the KettleCreekCemetery that was moved to build the Bush Dam, but I don’t know
to where they were moved.
